Drug-induced homicide refers to the practice of bringing criminal charges to hold a person legally responsible for another person’s fatal overdose resulting from drugs that they supplied.
Lindsey Vuolo and Robyn Oster from Partnership to End Addiction will provide background on drug-induced homicide laws that have been introduced in many states across the country. The workshop will focus on the research on their impact. It will also discuss the need for a public health approach, as well as resources available for advocates and families and opportunities for action.
