Mobilize Recovery is Training Faith Communities on Narcan
Group sessions in Kennebec County focus on reducing preventable overdose deaths & how the public can save lives.
Utilizing grassroots organizing tactics, such as door-to-door canvassing, Project Doorstep seeks to bring Naloxone and education to the doors of our friends, neighbors, and community members.
In 2023, we visited 5,000 households in Maine, providing 3,586 Narcan kits and educating 1,756 individuals about the Good Samaritan Law, which safeguards individuals during overdose emergencies. This year, we aim to repeat our success by reaching 5,000 more homes and expanding our outreach to include training sessions at various organizations, businesses, and churches.
