First off: a massive THANK YOU to everyone who hosted an event, joined in, or cheered from the sidelines in 2024. We couldn’t have pulled off such a fantastic turnout without your passion and support. Seriously—you all rocked it!

In 2024, 650 events lit up our website! From big gatherings to cozy meetups, it was amazing seeing so many people step up, take action, and make waves in their communities.

We saw countrywide food and clothing donation drives, mass Naloxone trainings and distribution, awareness walks, park and beach clean ups - there was no limit to your creativity and interpretation of community service.

So, here’s the details for 2025:

More Time to Shine
Last year, we heard you—September is *packed* (hello, Recovery Month!). So, we added on another month and we are doing the same this year! Your Day of Service can happen in September or October. More flexibility = more awesome events!

🧰 Event Planning Toolkit 🧰
Never planned an event before and need some guidance? Our toolkit can help you! There are planning docs and templates, along with new logo designs and social media templates.

☀️ Summer Workshop Series ☀️
We had some outstanding events last year that were coordinated by some amazing organizers from around the country. Instead of hearing from me at these workshops - I want to hear from YOU. Each workshop will be a megaphone to uplift the work y’all do. Click here to see the workshop schedule and register!

Showing up for members in your community is more important now than ever.

If you have the means to create a community service event or the time to donate to participate in one, will you join us for the Day of Service?

Head to the website now! You can set up your account and add your event! Please check it out at: https://www.recoverydayofservice.org (if you signed up and created an event last year, your previous log email address & password should still work).
