International Recovery Day
A Global Celebration of Recovery
On September 30, people around the world will come together for International Recovery Day, a global celebration of recovery from addiction.
This free online event brings together people in recovery, families, friends, allies, and recovery advocates across every pathway and from every part of the world. Together, we’ll celebrate recovery, challenge stigma, and send a powerful message: recovery is possible.
Register to join the International Recovery Day community and share your own recovery message—or participate in honor of someone else. Then, return online on September 30 to launch a virtual firework alongside people celebrating recovery around the globe.
International Recovery Day is open to everyone who believes in the power and possibility of recovery, including:
- People in recovery from any addiction and through any pathway
- Families and friends of people in recovery
- People affected by a loved one’s active addiction
- People remembering someone they have lost
- Allies and advocates throughout the recovery community
As National Recovery Month comes to a close, let’s unite across borders, communities, and recovery pathways for one extraordinary day of hope, healing, and celebration.
One day. One voice. A world of recovery.
