Narcan at Night began in response to a call to action at Mobilize DC in 2023. Organizers returned to Las Vegas ready to turn that call into direct community action, bringing volunteers together as part of one of Mobilize Recovery’s first Day of Service events. That first gathering focused on distributing overdose response kits, sharing life-saving information, and connecting directly with people throughout the community.

What started with one community stepping forward has grown into Nevada’s largest volunteer event, the state’s largest overdose awareness event, and its largest single-day distribution of overdose response kits.

This year, Mobilize Recovery is proud to partner with Narcan at Night as the event grows even bigger.

On Saturday, September 12, volunteers will come together across Las Vegas to educate thousands of community members and distribute 15,000 overdose response kits in a single evening.

What to Expect

The evening will begin at SUBSTANCE LV with participant check-in, announcements, team photos, and more.

From there, volunteers will divide into 20 teams and head into neighborhoods throughout Las Vegas. Together, they will distribute overdose response kits, share life-saving information, raise awareness about overdose prevention, and help connect people with available resources.

Teams are expected to remain in the field until approximately 10:00 PM, although exact end times may vary depending on the individual Team Lead.

This invitation is not only for people who live in Nevada.

Mobilize Recovery supporters, recovery advocates, community leaders, service providers, families, allies, and anyone committed to saving lives are invited to travel to Las Vegas and take part in this extraordinary night of action.

Whether you are coming from across town or across the country, your participation can make a meaningful difference.

Narcan at Night is an opportunity to work alongside people who share a commitment to overdose prevention, community care, and the belief that every life is worth saving.

Choose How You Participate

When signing up, you can choose to join a specific team or select the random team option if you are willing to help wherever extra support is needed.

Anyone hoping to join a particular team or participate alongside friends, colleagues, or members of their organization is encouraged to register early.

Participants who register by August 12, 2026, will also receive an event T-shirt. Be sure to include your shirt size when signing up.
