Where: The Foundation for Recovery
Let's show Las Vegas the power of recovery! Your presence makes a difference. Come join us and be part of a nationwide movement for hope and healing.
This event is organized locally in partnership with Foundation for Recovery, Recovery Advocacy Project, Shine a Light Foundation, The Center, CrossRoads of Southern Nevada, YPR, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada, The Phoenix, and The Davis Recovery House.
Shine a Light Foundation is an Outreach and Continuity Case Management organization focused on utilizing community intensive case management to help walk our friends who are unhoused or experiencing substance use disorder through their recovery journeys for the first 18 months to ensure they are supported fully.
The Center serves as a haven for all. We welcome and celebrate the diversity of our communities and strive to empower all to live authentic lives. We offer a variety of healthcare including Primary Care (starting late 2024), HIV Care, Sexual Wellness, Gender Affirming Care, Recovery Support Services, Family/Youth/Senior programming as well as many other services and programs for the LGBTQIA+ Community.
Young People in Recovery (YPR) envisions a world where all young people have the resources they need to thrive in recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. YPR’s mission is to provide the life skills and peer support to help young people recover from substance use disorder and reach their full potential. YPR is a national nonprofit that provides peer recovery support services for youth and young adults in recovery—or who are seeking recovery—from substance use disorder. Our programs consist of community-based chapters; life-skills curriculum programs; and advocacy to reduce stigma and create more resources for recovery.
This bus tour receives cornerstone support from iHeartMedia, Meta, SAMHSA and additional support for this stop from Opioid Response Network and Behavioral Health Group (BHG).
