On Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Mission High School in Las Vegas will host a special event as part of the Mobilize Recovery Across America 2024 Bus Tour. This event, organized in partnership with There is No Hero in Heroin Foundation (TINHI), is dedicated to supporting youth in recovery.
Event Highlights:
- Sign the Bus: Students will leave their mark with a message of inspiration, their recovery date, or in honor of a loved one.
- Overdose Prevention: Attendees will receive overdose prevention education, training, and resources, including Naloxone.
- Youth Engagement: Activities to engage youth in recovery will be a key focus.
- Decorate for the Recovery Parade: Participants can join in decorating for the recovery parade to show support and raise awareness.
- Day of Service: Students will join us to help us pack Overdose Response Kits to be distributed across the city during Recovery Month and Las Vegas PRIDE.

Mission High School, located in Downtown Las Vegas, was founded in 2017 as the first publicly funded high school in the nation designed to serve students in grades 9-12 who are in recovery from substance abuse, use, and/or dependency.
