While Campus Surge highlighted the power of student leadership, Day of Service 2025 showed what happens when entire communities come together with purpose, creativity, and heart.
A Record-Breaking Day of Service
In 2025, Mobilize Recovery supporters organized an incredible 781 community-led Day of Service events across the country, the largest showing of local leadership in our history. These events were hosted by 315 volunteer leaders, each bringing their own experiences and insights to the table.

From school supply drives to neighborhood clean-ups, community meals, wellness outreach, and recovery resource fairs, every event reflected the unique strengths and needs of the people who put them together. From coast to coast, volunteers transformed their lived experience into meaningful service that strengthened their communities.
Day of Service proved once again something we’ve always believed: when people are trusted to lead, they show up for one another in extraordinary ways.
Narcan at Night: A Lifesaving Moment in Las Vegas
One of the most powerful acts of community mobilization in 2025 unfolded on the streets of Las Vegas. During Narcan at Night, more than 540 volunteers formed 14 teams to distribute 10,000 naloxone kits in a single evening, and was the largest volunteer-driven event in Nevada’s history.

In addition to putting lifesaving tools directly into people’s hands, the night created immediate pathways to care. Five individuals asked for help on the spot and were safely connected to treatment services. These are not just statistics, they are reminders of what can happen when compassion and urgency meet on the ground.
Narcan at Night embodied the core purpose of Mobilize Recovery: we build community by saving lives, and we save lives by building community.
A Year Defined by People Power
Whether through a neighborhood service project or a large-scale harm reduction effort, 2025 made one thing clear: everyday people are driving this movement forward. Their leadership, creativity, and commitment form the backbone of Mobilize Recovery, and they will continue to define our impact for years to come.
