Our Year of Action wasn’t just about events, it was about building programs, partnerships, and systems capable of creating long-term change. In 2025, Mobilize Recovery invested deeply in infrastructure, innovation, and national collaboration, helping set a new standard for what effective, community-centered recovery support looks like.
Expanding Recovery Support in Emergency Departments
Through our partnership with the Independent Emergency Room Physicians (IERP) Trust, we launched and supported Recovery Navigation & Peer Support Services across five organizations in Utah, North Carolina, Colorado, South Carolina, and Nevada.
These programs help bridge the gap between crisis care and long-term recovery. Early outcomes show:
- 700+ direct service engagements
- 630 individuals accepted peer support
- 255 accepted medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
- 274 continued MAT (tracked post-discharge)
- 393 family/support system engagements
This work reinforces a central truth: recovery outcomes improve when people are met with compassion and support at the moment they need it most.
Scaling Overdose Prevention Nationwide
Together with Direct Relief International, Mobilize Recovery continued to strengthen harm reduction efforts across the country. In 2025 alone, we distributed 120,000 free doses of naloxone, bringing our total to 982,000 doses distributed since 2019.
Central to this initiative are our community based partners, including harm reduction groups, recovery organizations, and peer support networks — the local leaders best positioned to save lives in their communities.

A Digital Movement at Scale
Mobilize Recovery’s digital platforms served as one of our most powerful engines for connection in 2025. Across digital channels such as social media, email, text, and our websites, supporters engaged at remarkable levels:
- 13.1M social media impressions
- 3.8K new social media followers
- 126K website visits
- 3.3K new website signups
- 5.7K online event RSVPs
- 3.3K digital advocacy messages sent to elected officials
- 1.9M emails sent to 64K recipients
- 109K text messages sent to 15.7K recipients
This digital infrastructure ensures that no matter where people live, help and community are within reach.
A Landmark Partnership With Meta
Our story with Meta is one of shared vision and enduring impact. It began in 2019, when Mobilize Recovery was incubated as a pilot project under the prestigious Facebook Community Leadership Program. What started as an investment in a grassroots idea has blossomed into one of the most consequential corporate partnerships in the prevention, treatment, and recovery space. For over six years, Meta has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us, helping transform a network of local advocates into a sophisticated, nationwide movement. Their unwavering belief in the power of connection has been the catalyst for our growth, proving that technology can be a profound force for healing and community building.
In 2025, Meta further deepened its commitment through substantial philanthropic support that fueled our "Year of Action." As a Keystone Sponsor, Meta was the driving force behind our most ambitious on-the-ground initiatives to date, including the massive success of the Campus Surge, which brought recovery resources to universities nationwide, and our record-breaking Day of Service. Meta’s support also played a pivotal role in our Overdose Response Initiative, enabling the distribution of over 120,000 doses of free naloxone this year alone. With leadership deeply invested in our mission—including Meta Vice President of Public Policy, Neil Potts serving as an honorary co-chair—Meta continues to lead industry in driving tangible, life-saving change.
"Families and communities across the U.S. are struggling with the opioid crisis. This is a major public health issue that requires a whole-of-society approach. From governments to health care systems and law enforcement to the private sector, we all need to do our part to tackle this ongoing challenge. Meta is proud to partner with organizations such as Mobilize Recovery in this important work, and to have been a part of the work from the beginning."
Neil Potts
Vice President of Public Policy, Meta
Meta has also helped us reach millions of Americans with stories of hope and pathways to treatment, effectively combatting stigma at scale. In uncertain times, their unwavering support ensures that whether we are mobilizing for hope or sharing a resource guide, our voice is heard loud and clear in every corner of the digital landscape.
A Landmark Year for Recognition for Excellence
2025 was also a breakthrough year for organizational recognition. Mobilize Recovery earned a prestigious 4-Star Charity Navigator rating — the highest possible score for accountability, transparency, and financial stewardship.
We were also honored with seven Anthem Awards, including being named Small Nonprofit of the Year, recognizing our leadership in storytelling, advocacy, and mission-driven impact.

A Year That Raised the Bar
From transformative partnerships to national visibility, 2025 represented a major evolution in how Mobilize Recovery drives change. These milestones are more than accomplishments, they are the foundation for what comes next.
