We're proud to announce that our strong financial health, accountability, and ongoing commitment to impact have earned us a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator, the highest possible distinction awarded by the nation’s largest and most trusted charity evaluator.

This designation recognizes Mobilize Recovery as a “Give with Confidence” charity, affirming that donations are used effectively to advance our mission of building recovery-ready communities and expanding access to recovery support across the country.

Charity Navigator provides donors with thorough and credible ratings of more than 230,000 organizations. Since 2001, the organization has been an unbiased and trusted source of information for more than 11 million donors annually.

Charity Navigator analyzes overall nonprofit health and performance based on four key areas:

  • Leadership & Adaptability to help donors understand if a charity has clarity of purpose;
  • Accountability & Finance to explain if they are transparent and fiscally capable;
  • Culture & Community to show how they engage with their constituents;
  • Impact & Results to explain what they have accomplished.

“We are delighted to provide Mobilize Recovery with third-party accreditation that validates their operational excellence,” said Michael Thatcher, president and CEO of Charity Navigator. “The Four-Star Rating is the highest possible rating an organization can achieve. We are eager to see the good work that Mobilize Recovery can accomplish in the years ahead.”

“Our Four-Star Charity Navigator rating is further validation that our supporters can trust our commitment to good governance, but also that we’re using our donors’ gifts effectively,” said Ryan Hampton, co-founder of Mobilize Recovery. “We hope it will introduce our work to new supporters who can help us advance our mission to raise up the voices of people whose lives are affected by addiction.”

This recognition comes as Mobilize Recovery continues to expand its national programming, including Mobilize Recovery's Campus Surge 2025, Recovery Day Day of Service, and other community-based recovery initiatives that bring people together to take action and save lives.
