Mobilize Recovery, in partnership with Meta, NAMI-Montana, and Beautiful Minds Recovery - Montana, will host a roundtable discussion on Friday, October 23, as part of the Montana Behavioral Health Conference, taking place October 21–23.

Honoring the 50th Anniversary of Operation Understanding—the 1976 milestone that brought recovery into the public light—the discussion will bring together individuals with lived experience to explore the realities of navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.

Just as the pioneers of 1976 shattered stigma through visibility, this panel facilitated by Mobilizer Michael King explores how advocacy and collaboration between those who shape policy and those who navigate behavioral health services can dismantle systemic silos. By centering the insights of people with lived experience, we aim to drive the integrated, whole-person care necessary to support the millions navigating these overlapping challenges today. Decision makers and elected officials are invited to attend and learn from this community.
