Peers in Healthcare & Emergency Departments

Join the Mobilize Recovery Community on Thursday, June 26th to continue on the Issue-Based Workshop Series in 2025.
Many states and Recovery Community Organizations are connecting Peer Recovery Coaches with people struggling with Substance Use Disorder in healthcare and emergency settings. 
This virtual workshop is partnered with USARA in Utah as the ARCHES team helps bridge the gap between acute healthcare settings and community interventions. They help patients follow up with providers in the days, weeks, and months following hospitalization assuring that they don’t need to return to the emergency room. Furthermore, ARCHES stays in touch with people to make sure their needs are being met and whatever barriers they might face are overcome successfully.
