The Mobilize Recovery Campus Surge continued its national tour with a powerful stop at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, bringing together more than 400 students, advocates, and community members for a day of inspiration, leadership, and connection.

Hosted in partnership with Thrive 2 Survive and the Southwest Washington Accountable Community of Health (SWACH), the event blended live music, resource-sharing, and advocacy training to empower attendees to take action for recovery on campus and beyond.

The day began with a leadership and advocacy training, followed by a dynamic lineup of recovery speakers who shared personal stories of hope and redemption. A bustling resource fair connected participants to life-saving tools and local supports — including overdose prevention resources, mental health first aid information, and access to treatment and recovery housing. Donations of clothing and essentials were also collected for those in need, making the event not only inspiring but directly impactful.

The program was highlighted by a live performance from Skyler Ray & Kala Mulcahy, whose music brought the crowd together in an emotional and celebratory finale. Tanisha Harris, Outreach Director for Senator Maria Cantwell’s office, also attended the event, underscoring the growing recognition of collegiate recovery efforts across the region.

The energy at Clark College reflected what Mobilize Recovery is all about — turning awareness into action and proving that when campuses come together, recovery can thrive.
