Welcome to Part 2 of our year in review, where we’re celebrating the incredible impact we made together in 2024. Today, we’re shining a light on the Mobilize Recovery Day of Service—a campaign that proved how powerful we can be when we unite for change.
As part of our second annual Day of Service, we invited businesses, nonprofits, federal agencies, recovery groups, and supporters like you to host an event in their local area during the month of September, creating a constellation of connected public service events making positive change at the local level.
In total, we helped convene over 600 events in 43 states across the country.

Events included:
- Outreach events to distribute Narcan, fentanyl test strips, and other recovery resources
- Neighborhood block parties and community gatherings
- Mental health first aid trainings
- Wellness and recovery fairs
- Community meals and clothing drives
- Park cleanups
- Candlelight vigils
- And so much more!

The Mobilize Recovery Day of Service showed us what’s possible when people like you take action. Every outreach event was a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and generosity within our movement.
But there’s still so much work to do. As we look to 2025, we’re committed to growing this initiative even further—connecting more communities, supporting more recovery efforts, and bringing even more hope to those who need it most.
Your support makes this possible. Every donation fuels the resources, training, and coordination that make days like this happen.
Will you help us keep the momentum going?
Together, we can continue building a future where recovery, service, and connection bring lasting change to communities across the country.
