About the Tour

It’s often coined that recovery meets people where they’re at. That’s why in 2024 we’re partnering with recognizable organizations, brands, & individuals across the country to bring the Mobilize Recovery experience to their communities once again. Launching in September 2024, Mobilize Recovery Across America will depart on a cross-country bus tour from September – October 2024.

At each stop, community trainings will be offered, overdose response supports will be offered, local policy members will be engaged, and communities will be brought together to highlight the recovery experience that is so unique in different pockets throughout America.

What To Expect

Throughout the tour:

Overdose prevention education, trainings, & resources (such as naloxone) will be distributed at pop-up stations in local retail, commercial, & residential areas.
Policymakers will be engaged in listening sessions with residents in their hometowns.
Roundtables with local employers & businesses will be convened around topics such as mental health wellness for employees & recovery-ready workplace initiatives.
Schools will be engaged through TEDx-style talks by recognizable individuals in recovery from addiction and/or mental health challenges.
Families will be engaged through practical prevention tools & strategies offered through organizational partners & peers.

Bringing together a diverse cross-sector cohort of advocates, allies, and stakeholders to drive measurable, sustainable, and action-oriented solutions that create resilient communities of recovery.

Bringing Together Creators and Doers

Now in its sixth year, Mobilize Recovery 2024 will bring together recovery advocates, NGOs, allies, business leaders and brands, government partners, and like-minded community-based organizations with an interest in creating sustainable change and community solutions.

Develop Measurable Goals & Drive Community-Based Action & Partnerships

Through peer learning, partnerships, and technical support, we will work with Mobilizers to develop action-oriented goals that can be measured and scaled. We believe in the power of a bottom-up approach that supports advocates, creators, and communities on the front lines.

Support Ongoing Efforts to Turn Goals Into Action

We will mobilize partnership support and education to help uplift, measure, scale, and sustain the work of our Mobilizers heading into 2025.
