It’s often coined that recovery meets people where they’re at. That’s why in 2024 we partnered with recognizable organizations, brands, & individuals across the country and brought the Mobilize Recovery experience to their communities once again. Launching in September 2024, Mobilize Recovery Across America departed on a cross-country bus tour from September – October 2024.
At each stop, community trainings and overdose response supports were offered, local policy members were engaged, and communities were brought together to highlight the recovery experience that is so unique in different pockets throughout America
The Mobilize Recovery 2024 Bus Tour included 27 events in 18 cities in 13 states. Over 250 local organizations came together at these stops to provide resources to their communities. In addition to these local partners, over 50 national partners made the bus tour happen. These organizations believe in the power of connection, amplifying stories of resilience, addressing the opioid crisis, transforming peer support, saving lives through innovation, and providing hope, Together, we're proving that recovery is possible and every voice matters.
The tour traveled 4,235 miles and over 25,000 doses of Naloxone were provided to any organization or individual in attendance to continue to increase each community's access to overdose reversal medicine. An estimated 4,400+ people attended Mobilize Recovery Events during the bus tour. At each stop, attendees were welcome to sign the Mobilize Recovery Bus with a message of hope or add their recovery date.
